Guess what's happened since you were gone?

  The incoming main feed has been totally hosed since Friday Noon,
there are a few things sneaking in via news.sdsu.edu and that's it.
And as usual they're running for the bunkers.

  (Of course the Binaries completion rate died 5 minutes after you
left ELN, but at least text still worked.  Most of the time.)

  I'm about to drop as big of a Public Relations Stink as I can
possibly create right in Garry Betty and Mike Lunsford's laps, and
make them fix this once and for all.  I'm composing it now.  

  Your name is mentioned in my letter/post as the last *competent*
Newsmaster/Admin we had, and you deserve a heads up before I put this
out in public.  And if you want to see the text first I'm open for
suggestions, you may have better contact people to aim this at.

  You can also stay totally anonymous if you wish, I'm fine with that,
too.  But I need to forcibly stuff a bee under their bonnet.

  I need to get them off their fat asses (arses?) and Do Something -
Fish or Cut Bait.  Either fix the servers and the feed, contract out
wholesale to Supernews, or shut it down and watch some of their best
customers bail.
